Please be aware of the following opportunities and dates/deadlines. Everything listed below was in hard copy form in your UCAW folder you received during College Application Week.
If you qualify for the Opportunity Scholarship, the application is now open. You can go to https://ushe.edu/state-scholarships-aid/opportunity-scholarship/ to complete the application.
Read all details on the website carefully. If you have questions you will need to contact them directly at scholarships@ushe.edu or 801-646-4812. Remember that the FAFSA is a step in the application process. This scholarship is NOT needs-based, but the FAFSA is required to apply.
The FAFSA application is open. You must FIRST set up a FSA ID. Go to https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa to complete.
How to Pay for College Night is Monday, January 29 at 6:00 p.m. There will be volunteers available to help you with the FAFSA application.
The Diploma of Merit application is due on February 14 by 2:45 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted. The application is in the folder that was given to Seniors during Utah College Application Week.
The Scholarship Fair will be held on Monday, February 5 at Southwest Technical College. You will need to complete a portfolio. Here is the link with the information you will need. https://www.suu.edu/trioets/scholarshipfair.html A parent will need to excuse you for the afternoon as you will interview on the spot.
