a clothes line with socks hanging from it

Lizzie Huff, a CHS Senior, is collecting CRAZY, FUN socks for the kids at Primary Children's Hospital during the month of October or "Socktober" as we call it!

Socks need to be brand new and can be baby, toddler, children, and adult sizes - just as long as they are CRAZY (bright, fun, colorful, designs, cartoon characters, etc.). Primary Children's treats kids from newborn to 21 years of age.

Lizzie does this project each year because she has personally spent a lot of time in Primary Children's and likes to give something to the kids to brighten their hospital stay.

Student Government and FCCLA are teaming up with Lizzie to make this year the best Socktober ever! Socktober is a great service opportunity for students to participate in. This year the way it’ll work will be a little different. Students will have the opportunity to also BUY socks at the school. The socks are sold in packs of three and students will be given the opportunity to give one pair back to the Socktober bin. The bin is located right outside of the office under the bulletin board. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!!! For every pack of socks we SELL, money will be donated to a fund to build wells in Africa! So students can buy three pairs of socks, donate one to Primary Children's Hospital, and also help out the people of africa. It’s a win-win-win! ALL PROCEEDS GO TO provide clean drinking water for communities in Africa!

PACKS OF THREE $12.00

SINGLE PAIR $5.00
