We (Iron County School District) extend our deepest condolences and prayers to the family of the driver involved in this morning’s tragic accident. The accident involved one of our school buses at the beginning of the morning route and is currently under active investigation by the Utah Highway Patrol. There were no students on the bus at the time of the collision, however we understand students on their way to school may have passed the accident. Situations like this can be upsetting for students, even if they were not directly involved. We want you to know counselors are available at all of our schools. Students who may be struggling with what they saw or heard are invited to speak with a counselor.
