Welcome back! We are excited to start third quarter.
Students, please be sure to charge your Chromebook so they are ready for school on Tuesday. There will also be a change to student passwords. A lowercase i and a dash (i-) will be added to the beginning of each existing password.
Example: If the current password is ABCD1234, the new password will be i-ABCD1234.
All students will be tagged January 6 - 8, during the first week of 3rd quarter. On these days, dismissal will be at 2:45 PM for every student.
It has been brought to our attention that phone calls are being made claiming to be from ACT/SAT and requesting payment and credit card information. Please be advised that these calls are not associated with Cedar High School.
We strongly encourage you not to provide any personal or financial information unless you or your student have directly requested a service and can verify the source.
Parents-
Statements of outstanding school fees were emailed out today. An "optional fee" setting was mistakenly selected and resulted in you receiving a statement for a yearbook. If you have already purchased a yearbook, please disregard that fee. If you have questions about whether or not you have purchased a yearbook, please feel free to call.
We apologize for the inconvenience and mistake!
Star testing begins next week. Please ensure that your Chromebooks are fully charged before Monday morning, and restart them over the weekend to install Chrome OS updates.
During the week of Nov. 18-21, schools in Iron County School District will be practicing emergency procedures. Those drills may include one of the following: Fire and Evacuation drill; Hold Action drill; Secure Action drill; Shelter in Place drill or Lockdown drill. Please note that an increased police presence may be seen at schools while these drills occur. If an actual emergency were to occur, parents and guardians would be notified through the ICSD alert system as quickly as possible. We appreciate your cooperation as we practice the standard response protocols with your child. To learn more about the district's safety procedures go to https://www.irondistrict.org/page/emergency-plan

This Friday, October 31st at 4pm, the Reds will host Ogden in a state playoff football game. Because this is a state playoff game, only UHSAA issued passes will be accepted at the gate. Tickets MUST be purchased through GoFan using this link: rmd.me/BCOhi3bXWZe and NO CASH will be accepted at the gate. No screenshots of tickets will be accepted. DO NOT hit the "Use Tickets" button on your ticket until you are in the presence of a gate employee at the game. We encourage purchasing tickets in advance as WIFI reliability can quickly become unreliable in a crowded area. Good luck to our football team and thank you for your continued support!
