Attention Parents of ALL CHS Students: All students interested in advanced/audition courses in theatre, band, or choir please reach out to those respective teachers to schedule an audition.
We are also excited to introduce a sports weight class as part of the school day, available to 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. Please note that this class was not included on the 10th-to-11th-grade request sheet. If your student is interested in enrolling, please contact their counselor.

CHS will be hosting our annual E4A assembly this evening at 7:00 pm in the auditorium with Dustin Smith. Parents, students and coaches are welcome to attend. E4A is a movement designed to inspire athletes, and those with whom they associate, to maximize their athletic potential and to use their talents and social influence to assist and lift others.

There is a parent-athlete meeting on Tuesday, January 14th at 7 pm in the lecture hall for all those interested in playing boys golf next year. We will introduce coaches, introduce offseason practice times, discuss summer events and the team fundraiser. All parents and potential athletes, including incoming freshman, are welcome.

A reminder about the importance of XLT to your student and their academic success. Please encourage and require that your student attend XLT. This time is designated to assist and help your student be successful in his/her classes. It is a great opportunity for students to receive help and support from their teachers during the school day.
School ends at 2:45 pm Monday - Thursday. Students that are not tagged are released at 2:10. Please don't schedule appointments until after school 2:45 pm.

UHSAA Realignment Information
The UHSAA has released the first proposal of region classifications for the realignment cycle which includes the 25-27 school years. Cedar High has been placed by the Board of Trustees in the 3A classification and Region 16.
The decision to move to the 3A classification was partly premised on the results from stakeholder input which included parents, students, coaches and athletes as well as the UHSAA Board of Trustees considerations. The results of the surveys were...
