The Canyon View Falcons had No answer for the Reds 1-2 punch of Keana Tolman and Rylan Tebbs. Tolman found the back of the net 4 times on the afternoon being assisted by Tebbs on 2 of the 4, while Tolman found Tebbs for an assist on the other goal on the afternoon. The rain and Lightning came with 18 minutes left in the game causing a lengthy delay leading to the completion of the game. The win improves the Reds record to 2-1 on the season.

Cedar Sophomore RaeLee Johnson placed 2nd in the State golf tournament on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday afternoon Johnson played an outstanding round taking the lead after 18 holes. Johnsons play was extremely consistent throughout the day which led to a 2 stroke lead shooting a 6 over par on a tough course, only posting pars and bogeys on the day. Day two started off a little slower for the Cedar Sophomore as she collected bogeys on the first 3 holes but played a great 5th hole to add a birdie to her scorecard. Trouble came after that with another bogey and then a quadruple bogey on the 7th hole. Johnson pulled things together to play par golf for 5 of the next 6 holes. Johnson entered the clubhouse with the lead, but defending state champ Annabelle Millard of Dixie was able to reign in Johnson to secure another title while Johnson finished in second place. CONGRATULATIONS RaeLee.

The Cedar High Reds Boys Basketball team struggled to put the ball in the hoop in a loss to Dixie on Wednesday night. The Reds could only muster 15 points in the first half and fell behind 32-15 at the half and couldn’t overcome the slow start. The Reds were led offensively by Zab Santana who scored 15 and Aaron Munson added 11 for the Reds in the loss, Stockton Albrecht also had 6 points on the evening. the loss drops the Reds record to 10-9 and remain at the #8 spot in the RPI.
