The Cedar Reds stayed consistent finishing 3rd on their home course on Wednesday afternoon, Luke Barnes tied for 3rd place just 2 shots off of the leaders, while Dylan Orton finished in 8th place and Braylon Bingham finished in 10th. Congratulations Golfers!!

The Cedar Reds Volleyball team took down the Valley Buffaloes on Wednesday night in a non-region contest in straight sets. The Reds dominated the contest from start to finish, improving their overall record to 10-5 on the season. Way to go Reds.

The Cedar Reds Golf team will be hosting the Region 10 field at the Cedar Ridge Golf course this afternoon. Good luck Golfers.

The Cedar Reds Volleyball team swept the Pine View Panthers on Tuesday evening winning 25-17, 25-21 and 25-19. The Reds improve to 9-5 on the Season and 4-2 in Region play as they closed out the first half of Region on a high note. The Reds will start the Second round of Region play on Thursday evening traveling to Dixie to take on the Flyers. Way to Go Girls.

Parents, After school today the fire alarm went off evacuating the building due to a small fire. All students are safe and no significant damage was done. The main building of the school is closed until 6:00 pm this evening. Volleyball will still play as scheduled in the main gym and school will resume tomorrow morning at 7:50 am.

The Cedar Volleyball team plays the Pine View Panthers tonight at Cedar High School at 7 pm. The Reds are 8-5 on the season and are ranked #5 in the RPI for the season and the Panthers are 4-8 on the season and ranked #9 in the RPI. The Reds are coming off of a tough loss at Desert Hills and are led by Emery Harrison with 103 kills followed Ansley Coates 63 kills on the season. Come out and support the Lady Reds as they look to take down the Panthers.

The Cedar High Cross Country team competes this afternoon at the Hurricane Invitational at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Races starting at 5 pm. Good Luck Runners.

The Cedar High Tennis team is competing this afternoon at Pine View in the final region matchup before the Region Tournament next week. The girls are each looking to improve their seedings for the Region tournament. Good Luck Ladies.

The Cedar Reds Girls Soccer team handled the Parowan Rams easily on Monday afternoon 8-0 in a non region contest to improve to 9-3 on the season. Rylan Tebbs had a hat trick with three goals on the game and 4A leading scorer Keana Tolman added 2 more goals to take her season total to 21 goals on the year. Sophomore Parli Lewis and Freshmen TyLee Nielson and Gabby Gomez all contributed a goal apiece for the Reds 8 goals. Up Next for Cedar is the Hurricane Tigers at home on Thursday.

The Cedar Reds Soccer team will be playing at Parowan Monday afternoon. The Reds are coming off of a loss at Crimson Cliffs last week and are sitting at 8-3 on the season and at #5 in the RPI. Parowan is 3-5 on the season so far. Good Luck Ladies.

Just a reminder that you will need your student ID card for the Homecoming Game and Dance. If you are attending the dance with a student that is not a student at CHS you will need a completed dance guest form.

The Cedar Reds girls soccer team goes to Desert Hills tonight to take on the Thunder. The Reds are 6-1 on the season most recently taking down the Snow Canyon Warriors. The Thunder are 6-3 on the season coming off of a 2-1 victory over the Hurricane Tigers. The Reds are sitting at #2 in the RPI and Desert Hills are at #5. Good Luck tonight Ladies.

The Cedar Reds Soccer team will be on the road tonight @ the Hurricane Tigers. The Reds are at 4-1 on the season after defeating Crimson Cliffs last week. The Tigers are sitting at 3-3 on the young season after also beating Crimson Cliffs last week in a shootout after a scoreless regulation and a 6-5 shootout. Good Luck Girls.

The Cedar Reds hold onto the pick ax for another season as they defeat the Falcons 28-21. The Reds jumped out to a 28-0 lead and held on with a goal line stand late in the 4th quarter to hold off the Falcons. The Reds picked up Touchdowns from Matt Villa-Rowe, Treydon Elliot, Ammon York and Devin Crenshaw. Koden Lunt threw for 3 touchdowns for the Reds.

Pink Night for Volleyball @ Canyon View The Cedar Reds and Canyon View Falcons have been holding PINK night every year for the last several years to raise money for Cancer patients in our community. This year the game will be held at Canyon View at 6:30 pm Thursday Aug 25th and the teams will be playing for Carrie Norton who is currently battling cancer. In addition to the volleyball game there will be a silent auction with all proceeds going to Carrie. The Reds currently sit with a 4-3 record on the year after making a successful run to the Davis invitational tournament championship, falling to the host Davis in straight sets. Canyon View is 1-2 on the season coming off of a Victory over the Hurricane Tigers on Tuesday night. Good Luck Ladies. Come out and support the girls as well as Carrie Norton.
